Young Friends of the Palm Beach Symphony Kick Off Season with Reception

New & Returning Members Gather for Social Celebration

Palm Beach, Fla. (December 7, 2015) – The Young Friends of the Palm Beach Symphony hosted over 50 guests at their season kick-off cocktail reception event at Meat Market Palm Beach on December 1, 2015.  The young arts enthusiasts comprised of motivated area professionals gathered at one of Palm Beach’s hottest restaurants to socialize and celebrate a sensational concert season.

Todd Barron, the Young Friends committee vice-chair, welcomed members to the group’s second season and shared the exciting events planned for this budding group.  “It’s astounding how much we’ve grown in just our second season,” said Barron.  “We have a wonderful group of active and committed professionals who are helping the Symphony develop music education efforts in our community.”

Guests, who mixed and mingled while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, learned about the upcoming concert season as well as future Young Friends events.  Proceeds from the event support the Symphony’s music educational outreach programs throughout Palm Beach County.

The Young Friends of the Palm Beach Symphony (YFPBS) brings together young professionals and symphony enthusiasts in fun and energetic settings.  Members enjoy exclusive events including socials, educational events and networking opportunities along with discounted tickets to symphony performances and advance ticket ordering. A membership for the YFPBS is $125 annually and includes access to all events for the season.  The upcoming 2015-2016 events include:

January 24       Mixer at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, 2-5pm

February 3       Mixer at Echo Palm Beach, 6-8pm

March 9           Mixer at Provident Jewelers on Worth Avenue, 6-8pm

April 6             Season Finale Soiree at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, 6-8pm
