Findlay Galleries Hosts Palm Beach Symphony Gala Kickoff Event

Symphony Members Treated to a Private Preview Exhibition of Gilles Gorriti

Palm Beach, Fla. (January 10, 2017)Findlay Galleries hosted Palm Beach Symphony’s  Gala Kickoff reception featuring an exclusive evening of art, music and cocktails on January 9, 2017.  The event included a special private preview exhibition of the works of renowned French modernist Gilles Gorriti.  More than 100 symphony donors and gallery collectors attended the social event that honored the Symphony’s 2017 gala chairs, committee and board of directors.

Borynack this season, not only as our gala sponsor, but as great enthusiasts of classical music,” said David McClymont, Executive Director of the Palm Beach Symphony.  “Our members truly appreciate the collaboration between the arts as well as these special and exclusive evenings to enjoy beautiful works of art at the gallery.”

The Palm Beach Symphony’s 15th Annual Gala, Fire & Ice: Symphony Beneath the Stars, will be held on February 20, 2017 at 7:00 PM at The Breakers Palm Beach.  The Palm Beach Symphony will host an unforgettable evening at the historical and opulent hotel with cocktails, dinner, dancing and live music featuring an intimate performance by world-renowned cellist Amit Peled.  Tickets are $650 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Palm Beach Symphony’s mission to engage, educate and entertain the greater community of the Palm Beaches through live performances of inspiring orchestral music.  The 2017 Gala Chairmen are Nannette Cassidy and Philip M. Reagan, and the Honorary Gala Chairmen are Don and Mary Thompson.

Single tickets and subscriptions are on sale for the duration of the 2016-2017 season.  Additionally, memberships are offered at a variety of levels from $1,000 to $25,000.  Palm Beach Symphony members enjoy exclusive events throughout the season as well as social dining experiences with each performance at some of Palm Beach County’s best restaurants such as Café Boulud, Club Colette, The Colony Hotel and Mar-a-Lago.
