Dear Symphony Patron,
I’m often known to refer to Palm Beach Symphony as a family. Like a family, the Symphony and its mission exist because of the strong bonds that brought us all together to advance and preserve orchestral music as an art form. Palm Beach Symphony continues to stand strong today because of patrons like you who welcomed our humble non-profit and extended our family.
Since 1974, Palm Beach Symphony has been a staple in Palm Beach County, steadily striving to deliver spirited performances from world-class musicians and distinguished artists. United with individuals who believe in our mission, we have transformed this modest non-profit into a financially stable organization, celebrating more than five years of financial security and advancement.
This financial security has allowed Palm Beach Symphony to enrich the community with vital music initiatives. Our music education program serves more than 10,000 local students each season through instrument donations, free educational concerts, and coaching sessions.
New community outreach initiatives such as Nurturing Notes bring Palm Beach Symphony musicians and certified music therapists together to impact the lives of vulnerable and isolated populations in Palm Beach County. Vulnerable people, such as at-risk children and seniors living in assisted living and memory care communities, all benefit from our new bi-weekly community outreach programs.
It is because of you, our patrons and closest “family members,” Palm Beach Symphony continues to execute its mission in new ways: engaging, educating, and entertaining the community with our "Live! From Your Living Room” series, new Instructional videos created by Symphony musicians, and our internationally recognized, "OneVoice," collaboration with partner arts organizations.
The coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a trial for all of us, and now more than ever, we need to come together to continue providing uplifting and inspirational music programs that are essential to a community like ours. Please consider making a gift to Palm Beach Symphony in order to support our programs that connect and unite us in all times. Our season officially ends on May 31, and your donation is instrumental to Palm Beach Symphony as we advance our mission to serve the community.
On behalf of our board, staff, volunteers, and musicians, we commend you, your patronage, and your support of Palm Beach Symphony during the 2019/2020 season. Thank you for helping us elevate and expand our mission to ensure that spirited performances of classical music will always bring our family together, regardless of what world events the future presents.
Only together can we create a legacy that will inspire live performances of orchestral music in Palm Beach County for years to come.
Forever grateful, now, and always,
David McClymont
Chief Executive Officer
