Dressed for a royal masquerade ball, with her identity hidden, Cinderella plays her flute for the very first time with the palace orchestra, conducted by the talented prince as they perform for an enthralled audience of guests. At the end of the evening, afraid of being recognized by her evil stepmother and stepsisters, Cinderella vanishes hastily, leaving behind her precious flute. The following morning, the prince begins his desperate search to find the extraordinary flutist, whose elegant playing captivated not only her fellow musicians, but the guests, and certainly the prince as well.
Join us for this never-before-told story as it comes to life with art illustrations by Renata Rodrigues and the enchanting music of “The Birds” (Gli uccelli) by Italian composer Ottorino Respighi performed by Palm Beach Symphony and Music Director Gerard Schwarz with an original story and script by Jody Schwarz.
