Evening on Antique Row

In partnership with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, we presented “Conduct Us” at their Evening on Antique Row event on April 1. For the 28th year, this stylish street party shined the spotlight on the world-famous art and design district of West Palm Beach focused on 17th to 20th-century antiques, decorative arts, fine art, and design services. A string quartet of Symphony musicians followed the direction of impromptu guest conductors through famous musical selections as they made their way around this community-centric event. Living up to her name, Charisma (pictured above), a young beginner violinist, bravely led our musicians in her conducting debut.

Residency at Lake Worth High School

As a part of our residency program with Title I schools in Palm Beach County, Amber Dean, Principal French Horn of Palm Beach Symphony, led a coaching session with students at Lake Worth High School. Built in 1922, this is the oldest continuous school in the county and thrives on innovative leadership, enthusiastic faculty, and strong collaborative partnerships including with Palm Beach Symphony.
